> Quick start with MONA Cloud: sign in with MONA Pass, try a local or public Git deployment in the sandbox, then approve host costs to get an HTTPS URL. Nguồn: https://monacloud.vn/en/docs/quick-start · Cập nhật: 2026-09-19 # Quick start with MONA Cloud Sign in with MONA Pass, receive 20,000 VND signup credit and try a local or public Git deployment in sandbox. You agree to the host cost before any billable resource is created. ## Can you deploy without GitHub? Yes. Set `MONACLOUD_TOKEN` and run `npx -y monacloud deploy` in the current project directory with a Dockerfile or package.json. CLI monacloud 0.4.1 downloads MCP through npx. Add `--sandbox` for a free simulation, `--git` for the current remote or `--repo ` for an explicit public repository. MCP monacloud-mcp 0.5.0 provides `cloud_app_detect(local_dir)` for offline stack, port and Dockerfile detection, then `cloud_app_create({local_dir})` to zip and upload the project. The wallet balance is read through `GET /api/me`. The API uses `POST /api/apps` with `source: "upload"` (no `repo_url`), then `POST /api/apps/{id}/upload` with multipart `archive` (zip or tar.gz, at most 80 MB / 83886080 bytes) and `build_path` (default `/`). Put project files at the archive root, with no wrapper directory. Poll `GET /api/jobs/{id}` after upload and verify HTTPS. The server removes `node_modules/`, `.git/`, `.env*` and `*.pem`, and blocks zip-slip. **Measured on September 5, 2026 (evening):** API upload to HTTPS 200 took 112 seconds including the image build; MCP local deployment took 33 seconds with an existing host. The first app host takes ~150 seconds; the sample app deploys in 10–20 seconds with a public HTTPS URL. These are measurements, not a guarantee for every project. See the [local deployment guide](https://monacloud.vn/agent-guide#deploy-từ-thư-mục-local-không-cần-github). ## What do you need for the first five minutes? An email address, your application repository and an AI tool are enough to start learning the flow. Five minutes does not include payment processing or a complete production deployment. Open the [console](https://console.monacloud.vn), register with MONA Pass and follow account verification. Use the wallet for VietQR top-ups; check the recipient and amount before paying. **September 4 test snapshot:** VietQR top-ups report a merchant configuration blocker, so do not pay without a valid QR. Call support at [1900 636 648](tel:1900636648). ## How do you connect your agent? Set up the project and sign in to MCP ``` npx monacloud init npx -y monacloud-mcp login ``` Claude.ai · ChatGPT · Cursor (connect by URL): open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL, then sign in with MONA Pass. In Cursor, set `"url": "https://mcp.monacloud.vn/mcp"` in `mcp.json`; in Codex, set `[mcp_servers.monacloud] url = "https://mcp.monacloud.vn/mcp"`. Claude.ai · ChatGPT · Cursor (connect by URL) ``` https://mcp.monacloud.vn/mcp ``` Use the [MCP setup](https://monacloud.vn/en/ai-agent), read prices with `cloud_prices` and create a simulated resource with `cloud_vps_create`. CLI monacloud 0.4.1 also provides `deploy` for public Git repositories; see the app example below. ## How do you test with curl? Set your token locally, never in chat. The sandbox header keeps this request simulated. Set environment ``` export MONACLOUD_API="https://api.monacloud.vn" export MONACLOUD_TOKEN="" ``` Create a sandbox VPS ``` curl -sS -X POST "$MONACLOUD_API/api/lxc" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $MONACLOUD_TOKEN" \ -H "X-Vibecloud-Sandbox: 1" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"app_name":"app-demo","cpu":1,"ram_gb":1,"disk_gb":10}' ``` Poll the job ``` export JOB_ID="" curl -sS "$MONACLOUD_API/api/jobs/$JOB_ID" \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $MONACLOUD_TOKEN" ``` Replace the example job ID with the returned `id`. Sandbox finishes at `done`; billable provisioning finishes at `succeeded`. Read `result.service_id` and inspect the service before revealing credentials. ## When can you create billable resources? Read [pricing](https://monacloud.vn/en/pricing) and confirm the wallet balance. After you agree to the cost, remove `X-Vibecloud-Sandbox: 1` from the create request; it now creates billable infrastructure. For a self-managed VPS, use the separate credentials endpoint with `X-Confirm: reveal`, deploy over SSH and test the live URL. For public Git apps, use `/api/apps` as shown below. Never SSH to sandbox addresses in `10.99.x.x`. ## How do you deploy a public Git repository? Use CLI monacloud 0.4.1 with MCP monacloud-mcp 0.5.0: Sandbox run, then billable deployment ``` npx -y monacloud deploy --repo https://github.com/themonagroup/monacloud-example-node --branch main --build dockerfile --sandbox npx -y monacloud deploy --repo https://github.com/themonagroup/monacloud-example-node --branch main --build dockerfile ``` The first command simulates deployment; the second asks you to agree to the cost. Alternatively use MCP `cloud_app_create` or `POST /api/apps`. The host is billed hourly or monthly; apps have no extra charge. The [sample HTTPS URL](https://monacloud-example-node-3fb5b2.app.monacloud.vn) uses Let’s Encrypt. Deleting and recreating the sample on an existing host took 31 seconds. Private repositories are being opened through GitHub App. See [the full walkthrough](https://monacloud.vn/docs/deploy-nodejs). ## What prompt can you give your AI? Prompt to deploy this directory · no secrets ``` Deploy the project in this directory with MONA Cloud. MONACLOUD_TOKEN is in the environment. Use cloud_app_detect then cloud_app_create with local_dir. Read prices and the wallet, try sandbox and confirm costs before creating billable resources, poll the job and verify HTTPS, then give me the URL. Keep secrets out of chat. ```
